  1. Kate, I really enjoyed looking at all four of your photographs. The content of each one has this welcoming feel to them. The first photograph-saxophones are bad ass so I would want to listen to him. The second photograph-that melted my heart. I'm guessing they are your grandparents? If not, I'm sure you'll agree that they are too cute. The third photograph-threw me off a bit because the rest of the subject(s)are alive. But I like random. The fourth photograph-also cute but I would do something with the lighting. It"s bit too bright. The framing of the pictures are also excellent. It shows that you have a story to tell. So if I were a teacher, I'd totally give you an A haha. I'm lame I know.

  2. I enjoy the picture of Abe. I think that the angle that the picture is taken from is a very powerful angle because you are able to fully understand the expression on Lincoln's face without him looking at you. The shadowing in his eyes gives him a somewhat somber feel and a very serious or grave tone. I think it's good that the hand gets cut off there; if I could see the end of it I don't think that the fist would seem as powerful compared to the rest of the face.
